I will be there for you

saying goodbye

When your child leaves for college, leaving home for the very first time, ready to soar and take to the wide skies, there will be so much that you may want to tell your child.

Well, this is a poem that I wrote and I think it will aptly convey the message, as parents.

I will be there for you

I have taught you all that I know

Given you all that I can

I have enriched your life

With whatever I have

Now you are free to fly

Go wherever you want to go

When in doubt just let me know

I will be there for you

I will always love you
