Just For You

Drops of red

Rushing through veins

At lightning speed

Transmitting signals

Waiting for a response

For the one with a heart

That beats

Just for you

In search of true love

Getting up from yesterday

I find memories

Wrapped in packages

Of happy, sad, not so good, the bad

Moments that I have lived

Sealed with the kiss of time

Memories sealed but not lost forever

Opening packages of happiness

I relive those moments

Again and again

Earth - Is this the end?

Let us all work together to save Planet Earth

Shaded skies
Earth calamities
Weeping tears
Fully knowing
The journey
Of Earth
The end

Good Morning Sunshine

free image by pixabay

Early morning sunshine

I hear the alarm ringing inside my head

But I choose not to hear the shrill sound

Reverberating without stop

Till I am forced to shut off the sound

Just a tap on the snooze button

Beginning to sleep again

Supreme bliss

For a few more seconds

Just a little more

The clock rings again and again

This time I stop the ringing

Forever with a bang

A strong tap on the clock

Deciding to take a few more winks

I am harshly awakened by the bright sun

Muddle-headed I jump out of my bed

Hurrying to begin the day

I promise yet again, to myself

To rise, greet the early morning sunshine

When the clock rings

Good morning sunshine!

I Can

Yes I Can
free image by pixabay

No storm can ever stop me

No wind can break my wings

No water can ever drown me

I know I can face anything

I can face the rising oceans

I can climb up mountains high

I know that I can do it

Even harness the clouds up in the sky

Nothing can ever break me

Nothing can stop me now

I know

God will never forsake me

I will emerge unscathed somehow

Have faith in God

Desert Sands

Desert Sands

arid deserts
eagerly await the downpour
wishing for rainfall
just a little
the desert sands
look up to the sky
for precious drops of  rain
just a little
to quench the thirst
the desert sands
